Our facility design and services provide a boarding experience like no other. Amethyst Pet Hotel includes everything rather than offer a lower price and then charge extra to meet the complete needs of your dog or cat.

Photos or Videos of the Inside
When you shop for your dog or cat's boarding location, are there indoor photos or videos showing exactly where they will stay and sleep?
Walks, Playtime, Cuddles
Are there walks, zoomies in a yard, playtime, cuddle time, or just hanging out with a human rather than just a couple potty walks? Is that adjusted based on need or by paying for add ons?
Bring their own Food
Consistency is key to limiting stress. They should remain on their normal diet. Bring their special treats, Kongs, bones, etc to keep the normal routine. Give us the supplies and directions, typical feeding times and your pets will eat like they are at home.
Disease Prevention
Our Suites with full walls, HVAC with hospital filtration and ionization, cleaning of any facility toys between uses, dedicated leashes and playtime by household all limit the chances of disease spread at our facility. How are others designed?
Comminication
Do you receive a Report Card on your pet each day? Are you notified quickly about small changes in bathroom habits, behavior, eating, or movement or do you find problems after you pick them up? We maintain communication.
Safe & Effective Cleaning
We utilize peroxide based disinfectants and natural green cleaners and vinegar for maintaining a clean and healthy environment. We avoid the humidity, strong odors and respiratory and skin irritation from traditional spraying of chemicals on all surfaces.
Room Cameras for you 24/7
Can you check in on your pet anytime and see the area they sleep and hang out? Can you see how they are settling in? This a typical camera view.
Tracking Collars
We utilize Tractive Collars for our canine guests over 9lbs. You have access to their activity, sleep and position at all times. It is extra peace of mind to know if they are sleeping well and active.
Comfort Items
Can you bring things from home? The smell of home comes with blankets, toys or other familiar items to help them feel safe. If it won't be dangerous, we encourage it for comfort. We are small enough to keep track of it all and have the space for what they need to be happy!
Medications or Supplements
We are happy to be sure your dog or cat stays on their regular medications or supplements. Are they due for monthly preventatives while you are gone? We can give those too. We require medical records so we have all the information about their meds if there are emergencies.
Calming Help
For the pets who are anxious during their stay we can sit with them or read to them, take them out more, add a Pheromone Diffuser to their room and play music (we test different genres for the best fit) or white noise to help.
Noise Reduction
Noise is an insidious stressor for all of us, including our pets. Every wall in our building is floor to ceiling and contains mineral wool insulation to absorb sounds. The Suites have full doors, not cage bars. There is not deafening barking from dozens of dogs in an open area.
