Dog Playtime by Household

Amethyst Pet Hotel takes great care to protect your dogs and does not provide group play. Your dogs will have playtime with our team only by household. If you have one or more dog staying with us, your dog(s) will have individual playtime in a fenced area outside or indoors in their room. We do not mix dogs outside of your household together to play. It is a great option for dogs that prefer humans and don’t appreciate interacting with other dogs.

Some dogs thrive on group play, but for many dogs it creates stress and anxiety. Group play increases the risk for disease transmission and injury and requires a highly trained team to recognize concerning behavior before problems occur. Our goal is to limit stress and disease transmission and make our dog guests happy, secure and comfortable at all times.

We are a great option for dogs who are dog reactive, but love people. In addition to individual time outside, we can accommodate screening on the glass door of their Suite to limit visual contact with other dogs and enter/exit out different doors. Take a tour or book a stay today!
